Armed with dreams, Qamar packed his first bag at the age of seven when he left for boarding school. Away from the doting family, organizational skills blossomed in the young boy who was soon planning school trips at the age of 9. Who was to know that this would be a choice of career in the years to come? The hints were there… At the age of 13 he was already managing the mess for the 300 students of boarding school. This early exposure to management & organization created that natural flair for a tourism professional.A management degree from a prestigious institute always comes in handy and provided the technical support and brushed up raw youthful skills. He started his professional career with the most renowned company of India and got an opportunity to work directly under industry stalwarts of India Tourism. Under the tutelage of these masters of the trade, he learnt the nuances of providing memories- the most vital aspect of meaningful tourism.Qamar has had a distinguished career, having held leading positions with portfolios of marketing, innovation, products, sales and in-charge of operation in large organizations, where he has to his credit the successful implementation of some very unique ideas.Widely traveled around the world and the Indian sub-continent, Qamar is a meticulous planner, always creating something new, and enjoys an excellent rapport with the industry.

A research scholar in political science, Anil started his career as university lecturer in Delhi. His desire to learn foreign languages earned him a scholarship to do an advance course of Italian language in Italy where he developed a flair for traveling. Tourism became his passion so much so that once returned to India he left academics and started working as a tour leader for the Italian tourist groups. Highlight of his career was to accompany Carlo Azeglio Ciampi, the then President of Italy, and Ferdinando Casini, the then Speaker of European Parliament. Soon he realized his marketing & sales skills and joined an Indian DMC as market development director to generate business from Italian market. His on the field interaction with tourists and vast knowledge has made him sensitive to the needs of the guests and to design the programs and proposals accordingly.

Being a native from Hills, Anuj has been an outdoor guy right from his school days. His best memories of childhood travel include the annual 2-day train journey from Mumbai (then Bombay) to Dehradun with his family during the summer holidays; a week's sojourn to beaches of Goa & occasional hiking trips up in Central Himalayas. He later shifted to Dehradun in Uttarakhand where he spent good time trekking & camping in the Himalayas. Having completed his post-graduation, naturally in tourism, he shifted to Delhi in 1995 and is based there since then.While he loves every colour of India, the great Himalayas still mesmerize him the most. Exploring sleepy hamlets in Himalayan regions, hiking through off-beat routes and enjoying the sunset on a quiet beach are some of his favourite travel ideas. A big time foodie and an avid pupil of Indian art of cookery, on weekends he can often be seen in local markets feasting on street food, enjoying his favourite kebabs & biryanis or honing his cooking skills at home. Some of his interesting travel (mis) adventures include a chase by herd of Elephants in Corbett and spending an entire freezing winter night out on a snowy mountain!

A graduate degree in Physics and a certified tourism professional from a premier tourism institute [IITTM],Anand's tourism experience goes back over two decades before coming into Earthen Experiences. His extensive navigation across a kaleidoscopic India to learn life little lesson's; make him feel that today he has the best job in world.Coming from Ranchi, a tiny hamlet in Chotanagpur surrounded by famous cities like Kolkata, Bodhgaya and Varanasi; the multiple influences have inculcated in him, the nature and simplicity of Santhali; sweetness and melody of Tagore, the contentment of a monk and the wisdom of Kashi.To aholidaymaker or unorthodox traveler, he proposes the art of living; an endearing metaphor of our stories and culture with strong work ethics and irreproachable integrity.
