Child Protection Policy

Our Stance
Earthen Experiences LLP has a zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of sexual exploitation, harassment, and abuse, particularly involving children and adolescents. We recognise that tourism can sometimes be misused for exploitative purposes, and we are committed to ensuring that our operations, staff, partners, and clients uphold the highest standards of child protection and responsible behaviour.

Key Commitments

Zero Tolerance

•      Any form of sexual exploitation or harassment of children, adolescents, or vulnerable persons is strictly prohibited.

•      Immediate consequences: Staff, service providers, and clients engaging in such behaviour will face

•      termination of services, reporting to authorities, and blacklisting.

Client Awareness

•      Pre-departure information and itineraries include a “Responsible Travel” section stating our zero-tolerance stance.

•      Clients are advised that engaging in commercial sexual exploitation or harassment in any form is illegal in India and will result in legal prosecution under Indian law.

Staff & Partner Responsibility

•      All staff and contracted service providers are trained to identify and report suspicious behaviour.

•      Hotel and transport partners are selected only if they align with our child protection and anti-exploitation policy.

Reporting Protocol

•      Any suspected or reported case is immediately escalated to the Duty Manager and Managing Partners.

•      Authorities (local police, child protection agencies) are informed without delay.

•      Incidents are logged in the company’s Incident & Accident Register.

Awareness in Communication

 

Standard Advisory (included in all itineraries):

“Earthen Experiences has a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual exploitation and harassment, particularly involving children and adolescents. Such acts are illegal under Indian law and will be reported to authorities immediately. We encourage responsible and respectful behaviour by all our travelers.”
